At this meeting, the meaning and role of the Spatial Plan of the Republic of North Macedonia, which will enable long-term and sustainable socio-economic development, the legal basis and procedure for its adoption, as well as the necessary documentation, data and information that should be provided by the units, were presented. of the local self-government.

The main purpose of this meeting, which is only one of a series of meetings held with the Centers of all planning regions in the State, was to point out the key role of the municipalities in obtaining this information, as well as the Centers, as coordinators and liaison between the key institutions for the preparation of the highest quality planning document, which will correspond to the modern needs of the citizens and will enable faster and planned development of all regions in the country.
