Spatial planning is planning for the future, an essential characteristic of a civilized society and a reflection of the highest wisdom. In that direction, the most significant role is played by the spatial planning implemented through the National Spatial Plan, as the highest strategic, planning document.
Our task is to create a modern Spatial Plan, which will correspond to modern conditions and needs and which will represent a vision of how we envision the long-term future of our country. In the process of creating the new Spatial Plan, we included the eight planning and development regions in the country, which provide us with a link with all local self-government units.
Each of the separate planning regions is characterized by special potentials and values.
